Synopsis
A short ethnographic film following Chin refugees in West Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, where the border doesn’t live at a territorial line but inside a document — the UNHCR card, the asylum-seeker classification, the paper that determines who you are allowed to be. Filmed across church gatherings, household visits, and the ordinary bureaucratic waiting that structures daily life, the film asks what it means to inhabit a city where belonging remains provisional. Made as a student ethnographic project at Ashoka University.
